If you are anything like me, you know how difficult it is to find a protein bar with ingredients that are actually healthy. There have been times that I’ve spent hours searching the aisles of Whole Foods in hopes of finding the perfect bar. Literally hours. And when you do find one with decent ingredients, it’s usually just full of fruit and nuts and majorly lacking in the protein department. Story of my life. Hence why I created these!
With an almost cookie-like taste and texture to them, these bars make getting your daily protein fix tastier than ever! As is, they each have about 10 grams of the good stuff. If that isn’t enough for you, simply try adding more protein powder. Enjoy!

Cinnamon Raisin Protein Bars
Ingredients:
½ cup almond flour
½ cup almond butter (or other nut butter)
1/3 cup vanilla protein powder
3 tbsp honey
1 tbsp coconut oil, melted
½ tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
¼ tsp salt
¼ cup raisins
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Combine all ingredients until well incorporated.
Once dough is formed, shape into equally sized bars (I got about 6).
Bake for about 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
Remove from oven and allow to cool on baking sheet for 10 minutes, then completely on a wire rack.
Enjoy!
